What a HOOT! I had a ball, being scooted about in a vintage Bombardier Snow Coach from West Yellowstone MT to the Old Faithful Inn. Alpen Guides is TOP KNOTCH! Their guide, Mike Bryer, picked us up at the motel at the appointed time and off we went for an entire day touring the highways and byways on the way to the Inn. His knowledge of the geology, ecology and biology of the area was boundless, as was his “punny” sense of humor. The only flaw to the day was the marginal meal at the Grille by Old Faithful. It was poor fare and spendy. (My next tour will include a picnic lunch and a thermos.)
This was one of those rare experiences I will most decidedly participate in again and heartily recommend.
Thank you to the pros at Alpen Guides for a most enjoyable outing.
