Winter
Snowcoaches are heated but we do get out for walks throughout the day. Snowboots, hat and gloves and warm layered clothing is suggested. We carry blankets if you get chilled. Cameras with lots of film, binoculars if you have them and a bag or daypack to stay organized are nice additions. If you plan to ski or snowshoe, a lunch, extra socks and warm gear ar e suggested.

Summer
-Summer Touring in Yellowstone occurs at elevations up to 8500 feet. Temperatures vary throughout the summer with possibilities ranging from near freezing early in the morning to mid-nineties during hot spells. We suggest layered comfortable clothing that will keep you warm but may be taken off as it get hot. The sun is intense so adequate protection with hats and sunscreen may be important. Good shoes for walking, rain gear, other personal items for your comfort and medications are encouraged. Camera with lots of film, maybe a car charger for you camcorder and binoculars often come on our tours. A backpack or day-bag for keeping everything organized may also be useful for carrying lunch on a short walk. We urge you to bring what is needed while remembering to keep it simple!
