Wildlife Viewing in Yellowstone is best in the early morning or evenings when animals are most active wandering their
range in
search of food. Home ranges and daily activities of the wildlife change with
the seasons as do your chances of observing them.
Yellowstone visitors may see majestic bull elk battling for control of their harem of cows,
baby bison playfully butt heads amongst the wildflowers, a grizzly bear digging tubers and
insects in a wildflower filled meadow, or even hear the howl of wolves. We know the current
